BioProtein AS - a R&D partner going forward

Bioprotein AS is developing and managing Statoil ASA's IPR and experience on producing bioprotein.

The last decade the worlds first large scale demonstration factory was operating at Tjeldbergodden, Norway.
During this time and specially the latest years, this concept has been tested and proved and further developed.

Today Bioprotein AS can offer license to its patented factory concept.
In addition we have also developed and patented special uses of our proteins enhancing the growth and health of animals.

BioProtein AS has technology for production of proteins through fermentation of natural gas (methane). This technology turns standard natural gas into protein having high nutrition value – comparable to fish meal.

The technology is protected by a portfolio of approved patents and new patent applications has been filed based on results from a major ongoing R&D project.
